Candidates will be continuously assessed during the course via the trainer through individual and group work. Candidates will also sit a multiple-choice test at the end of the course and results will be available within 3-5 days of sitting the course. Successful candidates will be awarded SMSTS certificates.

About SSSTS

  • SSSTS is an accredited CITB course for construction site supervisors. The SSSTS course is a nationally recognised safety qualification and it is now a requirement set out by many major contractor groups for all supervisors working on site.
  • This course covers relevant legislation for health and safety in the construction The SSSTS CITB Course is attended by thousands of delegates every year across the country and is endorsed by the UK Contractors Group as the standard training for all supervisors on UKCG sites.
  • This course is designed for those people who work in construction and want to advance their career and qualifications and becomes responsible for supervising a working taskforce.
  • At the end of course, learners should understand and be able to demonstrate the responsibilities of the supervisor in controlling health and safety on site and how to carry out their duties.

Requirements

  • Learners must be 16+ and bring along valid ID (Passport, Driving license or ID card) along with National Insurance and Proof of Address.
  • You must also have a good understanding of spoken and written English.
